:: mamy poko vs drypers ::

i need to highlight that this review is totally based on my personal experience and i am not prejudiced nor am being paid to write this. just to share with all moms and dads out there. and yes, feel free to give feed backs on my review too.

 

I have been a loyal customer of “tidur lena pagi senyuman” . I’m very satisfied with MamyPoko’s quality and price. Personally, the price vs quality is very reasonable.

Last week, my husband and I dropped by Yawata, Jitra. Wanted to survey on diapers prices, we decided to try Drypers Limited Edition packet which consists of 54 pieces of diaper (drypantz & zap on). Being a lil skeptical, i keep waiting for the right time to use Drypers..hehehe..alasan saja takmau guna..

On Sunday night, I finally tore Dryperz packet and tried;  that was about 12.30am after azfar-chan pooped (yes, he usually poops around 12.30-1.30am) At about 5am, azfar-chan cried while pushing down his Drypantz, wanted to take it off.  Thinking he might wanted to change his sleepwear, I took his Thomas tshirt and showed him but he continued crying and still trying hard to take off his Drypantz.  I took of his Drypantz and right away he scratch and scratch his wee-wee. Then I know, he was not comfortable!! I took MamyPoko and changed the diaper. He slept through the morning until 11.30 am

MamyPoko- I never come across such problem and there were times when I forgot to change azfar-chan’s diaper from 8.00pm to the next morning but no scratches and no sleepless night.

Again, as I said, this is my personal experience and I won’t change the brand again! I’ll stick to “tidur lena pagi senyuman”

For the very first time last night, Azfar pat my big tummy and kissed! The 3rd, 4th and more after that were more like using my tummy as his drum.. My sister-in-law asked me a few times whether I’ve teach Azfar how to bond with the baby inside, whether I keep reminding, telling him that he is going to be a big brother. Frankly, I keep telling him.. but he seems not to understand. gheja buat derkkkk saja

He is more interested with his toys and Disney Channel. Help me here!

:: 誕生祝い ::

I’ve longing to upload the  simple celebration for my dear son : Azfar Hazim bin Hasnizam. I was too bz handling my morning sickness. this time, it was worse. Alhamdulillah, the 3-months-period has gone

Although my husband decided to arrange for a family members party only, it was fun . yeap yeap..no games, no pools for children, no goodie bag, no such fancy outdoor activities, but we all had so much fun chatting, getting to know more and we had great buffet

Most people enjoy chocolate chip cookies with milk. well i don’t i enjoy those chocolate cookies with cold ‘sarbat’ A recipe from Delia’s cookbook made specially for azfar-chan. He just loves the cookies.

:: Azfar-chan is 18 months today! ::

Alhamdulillah. he is now 18 months last celebration was on the anniversary. today, no more cakes. we just haveta wait till azfar turn 2 next year.

:: Aidiladha ::

Alhamdulillah, this is the second time I made qurban for Azfar-chan. Hopefully I will be able to maintain doing qurban for him every year. Insya Allah. Lets read more on Qurban/Korban here . Adapted from DrMaza’s website

My elder brother and his family came back during the celebration and boy, we had loads of fun! Tito & Tita (as Azfar-chan calls them) hosted a great BBQ party! Sadly, my eldest brother& family, my paksu+maksu couldn’t make it this year. Takpa, yang penting ibadat korban tu.

During the BBQ, we served pasta, prawn kebabs (courtesy to 1000 recipes book given by my bff AmizaAmir), chicken, lamb, beef, grilled foie gra (jantung, hati lembu). those who says YUCK to jantung lembu, hati lembu but says YES, YUMMY to foie gras-HAHA to you. those are the same thing!

:: Remedy for diarhoea ::

Pucuk jambu batu– YES! this is the traditional remedy for diarhoea. In kampung, you can easily get jambu batu. For adults, chew a few of its pucuk and Insya-Allah in a few hours, you’re cured. For children,  using pestel & mortal, punch the pucuk and spread it on the stomach. A great remedy for all of us.

I was told by my  consultant paediatrician that among children, they should not be given any medication to stop the diarhoea; unlike adults. Diarhoea is a form of body rejection towards infection. It will heal by its own cause but close monitoring is needed. If there is any drops of blood in the stool, rush to the nearest hospital a.s.a.p.

Azfar-chan was having diarhoea for 5 days. Alhamdulillah, nothing serious. No Pediasure Vanilla flavour for him, only Pediasure Chocolate flavour.

i was browsing through some blogs..was blog hopping actually. and i found this web>>gugu gaga mommy zara. she is holding a cute baby contest. and i thought..y not? who knows azfar-chan might win

it is very fun seeing how proud moms showing off their son and daughter..best kan..and at last, all of the contestant became frens. the community grows. best la ramai kawan2 nanti..
