all time favourite side dish during the fasting month-Ramadhan. this year, since my MIL is sponsoring the eggs, so y not
a very easy recipe from Chef Norzailina Nordin.
Ingredients:
1kg of coarse salt
1kg of water
10 duck eggs
How i did it?
1. Boil to dilute the coarse salt.
2. Let cool.
3. Wipe the eggs with damp cloth and then with a dry cloth *this step is very crucial; make sure the eggs is thoroughly wiped.
4.Arrange the eggs in a jar and pour the salted water.
5. Put the lid on, make sure it is air tight.
6. Keep the jar in a dark cabinet (the one you rarely open)
7. On the 16th day, try and boil 1 egg and test the saltiness. If it fits your tastebud, then remove the eggs from the water, rinse once and keep well in the fridge.
note: am waiting for another 14 days to test my homemade salted egg.

With the help of a breadmaker, managed to bake a pizza. I kept the other dough for next time. How easy life can be with that gadget.
Prepared a 10″ pizza (topping: capsicum, cheese, tomato spread, minced chicken, onion and lots of oregano) for ~j.e.j.a.k.a~ and spagetti olio for azfar-chan. I had my simple tuna sandwich.

I managed to bake 12 cupcakes for azfar-chan. I was trying to find something to cook; just to use my new food processor. hehehe. Envy how Jamie Oliver and Nigella use their food processor in so many ways. I dare not try before, thinking my cupcakes or cakes wont rise as they should be.
And this afternoon, proves me wrong. Thanks to my Mak, she gave me the food processor (barter trade with a smaller food processor ) hehehehe.. Best sangat-sangat alat ni. And yes, azfar-chan loves these cup cakes so much! he chose these 2 beautifully decorated (beautiful?
) cup cakes over his lunch.
Later at night, as I was really really craving (mengidam kosong) for some tuna spread, I made this ‘tuna horns’ for myself using the cup cakes mould
Finished with some grated cabbage and swoosh with some thai chilli sauce
Perghh…best !

These cornflakes crunchies are not for a craving lady. They are meant for my elder brother or Tito as azfar-chan calls him. Yes, he is craving for em. His wife is now pregnant with their 3rd child and again, he is the one with the syndrome
Started the session at around 11.30pm-had to wait till azfar-chan is asleep.
take a closer look-mixed fruits, good quality cornflakes, butter, sugar
sedap? crunchy enough? u be the judge
with the mixture, i made 425 cups of cornflake crunchies. Specially packed in 2 purple containers for my brother. another container is for my ~j.e.j.a.k.a.~ . yummy? crunchy enough? try the recipe and u wont regret! takdan sejuk dah abih 10 cups
