My ultimate choice is Pigeon Disposable Breastpads. Comparing to NUK it is a little expensive BUT, you have to be quick because Guardian Pharmacy regularly have such promotion whereby you will get 1 box free (buy 1 get 1 free).

These are a few strong points which I hope, will get you to try Pigeon Breastpads( beware! you will be hooked )

• absorbent: cotton like feel TOTALLY maximum dryness
• comfortable: ABSOLUTELY
• breathable– outer layer allows air to circulate, NO breastmilk smell
• Extra large: the pad’s enlarged diameter fits snugly to the breast and allows moisture to be distributed as effectively as possible
• Gentle: doesn’t stick to the skin
• adhesive strips –DOUBLE tape to keep the pads perfectly in place
• individually wrapped– in non-woven cloth and doesn’t make any sound when you unwrapped!!

Alhamdulillah, Akmal Hakeem bin Hasnizam turned ONE on 5^th December 2011.  As my parents agreed, we did the kenduri at their house. I was quite satisfied with how things turned up. I had the Thomas birthday ticket,  did the banners (Happy Birthday & Akeem Turns 1), the Thomas cupcake toppers, the buffet arrangement and the best part was, we had the same badge –Birthday Conductor!

This time around, after discussing with the consultants (my dear sister and my dear friends) we decided not to have door gift for the kids. Still, i managed to get some blowouts and wisels for the kids.

the cakes was deliciously and beautifully made by K.Syima . We had Thomas birthday cake, butterfly cake for azfar-chan and the cuppies (free & eggless). yay!!!

Frankly, I can’t afford to have a lavish birthday bash for my sons. We cant afford to have one at a hotel nor have a few tents decorated by an event provider. but hey, who needs that? as long as my sons, my nephew and nieces are happy, im happy!!

As always, I will be very busy planning, drawing, jotting down every idea I have for Hakeem-chan birthday kenduri (I prefer to use Kenduri rather than party).  Menu, templates, invitation card, tshirts, iron-on photo…phew!! the list seems to be endless.  I would really love to have a simple and fun birthday celebrations for my children. Hopefully, I can manage their birthdays until… err.. let time tells.

Thanks to the internet, FB I easily can download templates, can share ideas, themes, birthday stuffs for theme. Thank you technology!!! Some blogs can really help us to plan our party as long as we have that Bank Negara note with us. hehehehe
