:: made some pre-raya cookies::

came to the office with a fuming mind..benda kecik nak diperbesarkan..buhsan!! lecturer mende camtu…

decided to took a day off~~off from the tiring office work. argghh… went to see a doctor yesterday and told me my blood pressure was rather low (but its better low than high) . as expected since i was experiencing the vomiting/giddiness the day before. watashi no danna san was given a 2-MC since he was having fever+sorethroat. pity him.

since i was at home, i tried making his favourite Raya cookies..Biskut Sarang Semut (Ants Nest Biscuits -the direct translation) heheheh..wat a name! I printed out the recipe from kak liza’s page..its a very easy to make biscuits and it tastes nice..with such colourful toppings. no wonder my husband likes it so much. tonite I’m trying to bake some savouries. the doctor reminded me to increase my protein intake. so i’ll be making mini quiche.. a recipe i made myself a couple of years ago(im not good in making crusts).

BISKUT SARANG SEMUT

Ingredients
250 gm butter
100 gm icing sugar
350 gm plain flour…..] to be sifted
100 gm cornflour……] to be sifted
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Paper cups

Cute toppings
Some chocolate rice
Some colourful ‘chocolate rice’

Method
1. Beat the sugar and butter until light n fluffy.
2. Add the egg yolk and vanilla essence.
3. Fold in the flours.
4. Grate the mixture into paper cups.
5. Sprinkle the chocolate rice.
6. Bake at 180c for 15 minutes.
7. Let cool and keep in air tight containers. (made up 152 cups)
