we both smile…Alhamdulillah..the doctor confirmed it.
prepared the spaghetti for Jejaka. he wanted it yesterday but since we went to meraya until 5.00 pm, we were full with kueh raya+bihun goreng..
watched Jamie at home on sunday before going to Dik A’s for lunch. and so yesterday morning we went to the supermarket to get those ingredients.
VERY simple spaghetti and yet so delicious!
part 1-the spag
1/4 pack of spaghetti-boiled
6 shallots-finely sliced
3 cloves of garlic-finely sliced
4 pieces of dried bay leaves (where wud i get the fresh ones in Perlis???)
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
1 cube of butter (fattening according to my dear fren Shamili… 😀 but it smells+tastes gud gurl)
the way i cooked: brown the shallots and cloves. add the bay leaves+salt+boiled spaghetti. DONE!
part 2-the sauce
1 small can of tomato puree (because i couldnt find any whole canned tomatoes)
1 small can of button mushroom-sliced
1 clove of garlic-finely sliced
salt to taste
black pepper to taste (the more the better)
the way i cooked: brown the garlic. add the button mushrooms (biaq garing lagi sedap). pour the whole can of tomato puree, black pepper, salt. bring to boil. DONE
part 3-the chicken meatballs
1 tube of ground chicken
some fresh coriander
1 large onion-finely chopped
2 tablespoonful of tumeric
tiny bit of salt
the way i made: mix well those ingredients and shape to oblong. fry using small amount of oil (i used non stick pan
to serve: put the fried spag, the chicken meatballs and pour some sauce on the meatballs..not to much.. enjoy
p/s: i enjoy the fried spag with just the meatballs…the sauce is not spicy and so i hate it..guess i cant go to italiano.. 😀 no photo since my Jejaka ate them all 😀
